A space for clarity,
steadiness, and
meaningful change.
STAMFORD · NORWALK · FAIRFIELD, CT
Individual therapy for adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, OCD, and the moments that ask more of us than we feel ready to give.
My Story
Hi I’m Eluisa! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Connecticut & New York. You found your way here for a reason. Maybe anxiety has been quietly running the show, showing up in your relationships, your sleep, the way you talk to yourself. Maybe you're going through something that's shifted the ground beneath you and you're trying to find your footing again. Or maybe you've known for a long time that something needed to change, and you're finally ready. This is a space where you don't have to have it figured out. Together, we'll work to understand what's keeping you stuck and build the clarity, tools, and self-trust to move forward, at a pace that feels right for you.
"I believe that clarity is something you build — not something you wait for. My work is grounded in helping clients develop real tools, real self-trust, and the kind of meaningful change that lasts."
— Eluisa Brunetto, LCSW
How I Can Help
You don't have to keep doing this alone. Here's where we start.
-
You know the thoughts aren't rational. You think about them anyway. You check, avoid, reassure yourself — and it works for about five minutes. There is a way out of this cycle.
-
The thoughts come out of nowhere and they horrify you. You've done everything to make them stop. You are not your thoughts, and with the right treatment, you can prove that to yourself.
-
You wake up and the weight is already there. You're not sad exactly, you're just flat, far away from yourself. This is not who you are. And it is not permanent.
-
On paper, your life looks fine. But something has shifted and you can't find your footing. You don't have to figure this out alone.
How I Work
The Approaches I Use
I use evidence-based methods that have decades of research behind them — never as rigid protocols, but as flexible frameworks adapted to who you are and what you are working through.
CBT
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
CBT helps you identify the specific patterns of thought that maintain anxiety, depression, and OCD — the predictions, the distortions, the mental habits that fire automatically — and learn to examine them accurately. Not positively. Accurately. There is a significant difference, and that difference is where lasting change happens.
Anxiety · Depression · OCDERP
Exposure & Response Prevention
ERP is the gold-standard treatment for OCD and anxiety. It works by deliberately and systematically approaching the thoughts, situations, or feelings you have been avoiding — at a pace we build together — so your brain can learn through direct experience that the distress is tolerable, that it passes, and that compulsions and avoidance are not necessary.
OCD · AnxietyACT
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy
ACT changes your relationship with difficult thoughts and feelings rather than fighting them. You learn to notice anxiety or depression without being ruled by it — and to move toward what genuinely matters to you even when discomfort is present. It adds a values-based dimension that makes change feel purposeful, not just symptomatic.
Anxiety · Depression · TransitionsEvery approach is tailored to you. CBT, ERP, and ACT are frameworks — not formulas. I don’t apply them the same way to every person. I use them as starting points and adapt everything to your specific history, your values, how your mind works, and what you are actually trying to change. The research tells us what works across populations. My job is to figure out what works for you.
